Synchronise Inventory

With Lightspeed Restaurant Bridge, you can keep your HubRise inventory in sync with the stock levels held in Lightspeed. This keeps product availability up to date across all the apps connected to HubRise.

Enable Inventory Sync

To enable inventory sync, follow these steps:

1. Open Lightspeed Restaurant Bridge.
2. Select the Configuration tab.
3. In the Inventory section, select Sync inventory with Lightspeed.
4. Click Save to confirm.

Enabling inventory sync immediately overwrites your HubRise inventory with Lightspeed's stock levels, then keeps it up to date automatically. Disabling it stops the synchronisation and leaves the HubRise inventory unchanged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Enabling inventory sync replaces your current HubRise inventory.

Automatic Synchronisation

Once inventory sync is enabled, Lightspeed notifies the bridge whenever an item's stock changes, and the bridge updates that item's stock in HubRise in real time. No action is required on your part.

Stock is managed in Lightspeed. When you set a stock count for an item, or mark it as out of stock, the change is reflected in HubRise. When you remove the stock restriction on an item, it is marked as unlimited in HubRise.

Manual Synchronisation

If inventory sync is enabled, the HubRise inventory is also fully refreshed from Lightspeed when you:

• Click Pull inventory on the Actions page. This button is only visible when inventory sync is enabled.
• Pull the catalog from Lightspeed, either from the Actions page or from a connected solution. For more information, see Pull the Catalog.

Information Sent to HubRise

Stock levels are sent to HubRise as follows:

• Items are matched between Lightspeed and HubRise by their SKU code.
• An item with a limited stock is sent to HubRise with its current stock count.
• An item with no stock restriction is sent to HubRise as unlimited stock.

A full synchronisation, which happens when you enable the feature, click Pull inventory, or pull the catalog, overwrites the entire HubRise inventory. Lightspeed only reports items whose stock is restricted, so every other product is set to unlimited stock in HubRise.
