Map Ref Codes
Most EPOS solutions require a ref code for each product and option to properly interpret orders. This page explains how to manually configure ref codes in Wolt.
If your EPOS can push its catalog to HubRise, or if you manage multiple platforms, it is generally more efficient to centralise catalog management in HubRise and push it to Wolt. For more information, see Push the Catalog.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When Menu API is enabled, the Listing Manager is read-only and does not allow changing ref codes. To check if Menu API is enabled, see Status - Integration. To change this setting, contact Wolt support.
Products
To assign ref codes to your Wolt products, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Wolt Merchant Portal.
- Click Listing Manager.
- Click on the item you want to edit.
- In the item details panel that opens on the right, click Edit.
- Enter the ref code in the POS ID field.

- Click Save to confirm.
You will need to repeat this procedure for all your products.
Options
To assign ref codes to your Wolt options, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Wolt Merchant Portal.
- Click Listing Manager.
- Click All options to view the list of option groups.
- Click on the option group you want to edit.
- In the option group details panel that opens on the right, click Edit.
- Enter the ref code in the POS ID field for each option value you want to map.

- Scroll down to the bottom of the panel and click Save changes to confirm.
You will need to repeat this procedure for all your option groups.
